Wrong billing details.

Today I had a conversation with a very helpful member of your staff, who made me aware of a cheaper deal for my ongoing contract with sky.

 

The issue I previously had was that I originally over estimated how much data I would use and so have stored a lot in my piggy bank.

 

the opportunity came today to address this and so I thought I did. The option was a new 25gb data contract for £14pcm or 10gb data plan for roughly £9pcm.

 

i opted for the lower at 10gb of data for roughly £9pcm. I was happy with this deal as I could use some of my piggy bank stored up if needed, however I only use about 7 or 8 gb pcm. 

I have just now reviewed my emails and seen that I had been signed onto the 25gb contract. This is not what I wanted or agreed to on the phone. 

the original phonecall was about bad service in my area which I was told will be rectified by Sunday morning. I was happy to take this on board as things can't work all of the time, however I am no getting frustrated with the service provided as this is yet another thing to go wrong. In the grand scheme of things, it's small however it's a great inconvenience to have to take time out to make a phonecall when I have a 1 year old to care for, or work to attend. 

I am at a ultinatum in my contract with yourselves as my contract had come to an end. For the sake of convenience I wish to stay with sky, but as mentioned, this is frustrating as even the call takers rationale was that I only used 7-8gb of data, and so 10gb of data would be ample. Please rectify this.

Sorry but we can't as this is a community where Sky customers help each other so you are not talking to Sky.

 

Have you checked via your account to see if you can change your data plan to the one you require ?
