Wifi dongle?

My daughter needs to use her macbook when at college and can't always get good local signal. Can Sky supply a WiFi dongle to use her data?

It's not clear what you're asking for?  If this local signal (Sky?) is cellular then a dongle won't be any better.

Re: Wifi dongle?

So she needs to use the Internet whilst away from home. The college WiFi isn't great. So am looking for a WiFi dongle. But can't find anywhere on the sky site that covers this

@Haleybop  Sky don't sell dongles, you'll need to purchase one online make sure it's unlocked, you can use a Sky sim in any 4G dongle.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Has she got a phone with a Sky SIM in it?  If so, just tether the mac to it?  (iPhones have personal hotspots)

@Haleybop

'Mobile router' or 'portable hotspot' are better search terms: 'wifi dongle' will typically find USB wireless adaptors, which wouldn't be relevant.

Note that some schools/colleges discourage use of such devices because they bypass the internet filtering which the establishment will have in place.
