My 2 years are up next month and I'm looking at getting a new phone . I don't want to move to Apple and I'm not a fan of Samsung. My last 4 phones have all been Sony. I was hoping to get the latest offering from Sony but sky is no longer offering Sony , why ? Extremely disappointed at the lack of choice

No one on the forum can tell you why Sky are no longer selling Sony phones.

I have the same problem. Hubby and I have sony phones. He can't use apple and Nokia. I have been waiting a year for the next Sony. So disappointing that sky is so shortsighted with such a limited choice. I will have to use a different provider to get the phone I want. Sky is losing customers. They must be so big they don't care about their loyal customers. Shame

@Rosena13 Sony phones have seen a huge drop in popularity in recent years mainly due to them falling behind the competition on specifications, innovation and updates. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't vanish from the market completely in the next few years like HTC & LG have.
If you can't use Apple or Nokia you are better off looking at Samusng. They have become really easy to use, very reliable, great for updates and have models across all budgets. They are Android like Sony's are so all you'll be able to use the same apps you currently use.

In May 2019, Sony announced its exit from Indian smartphone market after dwindling sales. Apart from India, Sony has pulled out of some other markets as well. The company also stopped sales in Central and South America, West Asia, South Asia, Oceania, etc, in FY18.

Pete I am a Sony Xperia fan I was thinking moving to sky mobile too to see if there doing New Sony Xperia Pro 1 which will beat any Samsung or newest Apple Phone by being first mobile to turn into having the most powerful built-in Camera and will function more like a top of range professional camera and all reviewers deals with Cameras are touting the new Sony phone has blown the rest mobiles with high spec Cameras out of the water but I noticed that Sky has stopped Selling Sony Phones I think friend your better voting with your feet go to a different mobile provider plus I noticed Sky been quite sneaky in putting my bills up and taking extra money from my account without it showing any extra but my account doesn't lie extra hidden costs being applied they're copying Virgin Media there bad for that too. So after being with them for years of loyalty I'm seriously thinking leaving all together it's disappointing plus if your football fan you notice there's more less live matches being shown on sky unless your with BT or one the other big media Corps all this started after Sky merge with some other company I forgot the name off. I'm feel I have to make a complaint as a costumer being mistreated. Also I paid for insurance for my Sky Equipment and for the remote I tried to find away to contact Sky to make a claim because of my remote had failed so had to buy a New one so I be contacting them on that and cancel my insurance because it's all rubbish don't buy there insurance

Sky put up prices in line with the contract you agreed - which may increase once minimum term discounts expire. You can renegotiate once 'out of contract'.
SkyProtect Insurance is provided by D&G - you would need to contact them to claim. https://www.skyprotect.com/
