Why can't I activate my sim

The page for sim activation states technical difficulties and to try sky app, tried sky app get same error message Does anyone know what is going on or how long it will take for sky to resolve their technical difficulties

Nobody here can say why you are seeing the technical difficulties message or how long it will take before it clears so the only way to get the sim activated will be by contacting Sky via another phone.

I am having the same issues, have now been on the phone twice, and been told both times it will take 24 hours but still nit working.  I am expecting a call back from Sky tomorrow evening,  if still not resolved they are posting out a new sim card which can take 1 to 6 days, absolutely horrific service
