When to cancel

I have a mobile contract coming to an end in February. I took it out 3 years ago for my stepson who is now 21 so can sort his next one himself. I just need to know when I need to contact sky to cancel the contract, do I have to give 28 days notice? I don't want the contract to renew past its end date.

The device plan will end automatically once the credit is fully repaid.

In terms of any dataplans then they have a minimum term of 12 months.  If he doesn't want to keep the phone number then you can cancel (31 days notice) whenever you want.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@Sarahjane1571

Once the device is fully paid off Sky will send you an email confirming that.
