VoLTE and WiFi Calling

Hi all.

Just wondering with the 3G switch off and things, when Sky plan on enabling or allowing more devices devices to use VoLTE and WiFi calling.

I have an Honor Magic6 Pro and I do not have the option to enable it on the device, which would be useful as the signal indoors is poor and the VoLTE generally isn't the best as it doesn't use it most of the time and just falls back to 3G.

I know that device support is required and this phone does support these features on different carriers, so implies that it is because Sky have not allowed the features to be used for whatever reason.

I do note that Sky have them on the Honor 400 Pro.

Any input appreciated.

Thanks.

Kindest Regards,
Andrew Robinson.

Sky have not announced anything to my knowledge.  Their policy is that phones purchased from them will work with WiFi calling - I don't see this changing...

I mean it should'nt and doesn't really on the phone being from the carrier anymore.

Most manufacturers now simply have the required configuration built into the firmware to access the features, or they download the settings depending on the SIM card installed onto the phone, such as OnePlus, Sony and Samsung even does this now.

Thanks for your input though.

I agree - if it works then great but if your device wasn't purchased from Sky then they will not provide any support.
