VIP free roaming

vip diamond customer entitled to the new free roaming abroad, when I go abroad I have my spend cap at £0, have tried to google for an answer and van't get a proper answer. I asked wether it would automatacally conect to free roaming , one answer said if I had it set at £0 on my spend cap the phone would'nt connect as I had zero spend cap, so I was going to set the spend cap to £2 , but then the answer said it would switch of when I reached the £2 spend cap .i'm totally confused , do I spend cap or what, and what settings should I have my iphone on. Airplane mode ,off or on ,, Mobile data on or off ,, Data roaming on or off . By having to ask this question you'll know I'm not good with phones because of my age ,, any help would be great thanks.

You haven't said where you're going.

The deal isn't for free roaming per se. It means Diamond VIP customers travelling to countries covered by the Roaming Passport Plus won't pay the £2 every 24 hours. Calls to local numbers are still charged at International rates and roaming in a Rest Of The World destination will still cost a pretty penny.

Going to Spain is covered by the free roaming @brado4, you shouldn't need to do anything as when you roam your account at sky is supposed to pick up that you are a diamond customer and shouldn't be charged. The spend cap should have no effect either way.
