No. It is a Rest Of The World destination and costs will be extremely high as per this link

The cheapest solution is to get a local SIM card when you arrive or only use free Wi-Fi.

You need to make sure roaming / data are switched off before leaving the UK and switch on flight mode. Once free WiFi is available just turn on WiFi whilst still in flight mode.

With a Sky Mobile SIM paying £2 a day to access a 'home' calls/texts/data allowance applies in the EU/EEA, overseas territories of EU countries and a handful of other nations around the world.  All other countries are extremely  expensive, particularly for cellular data use.

The current (December 2025) list is:

Aruba (Netherlands Antilles)

Austria

Australia

Azores (Portugal)

Belgium

Bonaire (Netherlands Antilles)

Bulgaria

Canada

Canary Islands (Spain)

Christmas Islands (Australia)

Cocos Islands (Australia)

Croatia

Curacao (Netherlands Antilles)

Cyprus (excl. N. Cyprus)

Czech Republic

Denmark

Estonia

Finland

France

French Guiana (French West Indies)

Germany

Gibraltar

Greece

Guadeloupe (French West Indies)

Hungary

Iceland

Italy (Incl. San Marino and Vatican City)

Latvia

Liechtenstein

Lithuania

Luxembourg

Madeira (Portugal)

Malta

Martinique (French West Indies)

Mayotte (French Territories in the Indian Ocean)

Netherlands

New Zealand

Norway

Poland

Portugal

Reunion (French Territories in the Indian Ocean)

Romania

Saba (Netherlands Antilles)

Sint Eustatius (Netherlands Antilles)

Sint Maarten (Netherlands Antilles)

Slovakia

Slovenia

South Africa

Spain

St Barthelemy (French West Indies)

St Martin (French West Indies)

Sweden

Switzerland

Thailand

Turkey (Incl. N. Cyprus)

USA

United Arab Emirates

Vietnam

As @Daniel0210 indicates, it's really important not to have the SIM active even before landing (because cellular signal goes upwards too)
