Using Mobile abroad

Can I use my phone abroad without extra charge?  On my app it says as a VIP perk I get free usage but do I need to register.  Or is it safer to but the £2 per day passport.

Roaming is free for Diamond VIP customers in Roaming Passport Plus destinations. You don't need to register, it should all apply automatically. Remember that in RPP locations calls to local numbers will still be charged at International rates and the 25GB per billing period Fair Usage policy will still apply.
