Use in Thailand

My daughter is currently in Thailand and has a sky mobile contract using an iphone.

I thought it would cost £5 a day for a passport plus but I now realise it does not include Thailand.  I just need to check that if she uses wi-fi only but uses the imessage through wi-fi whilst there I am presuming this will not incur extra charges? I also have an iphone.

I am asking as I am panicking as I need to know she is safe and to keep in touch while she is on holiday.

Hope someone can help.

Hi @Georgializ  yes anything sent via iMessage on WiFi will be free, including pictures. As advised ensure roaming and mobile data are turned off.

That is correct but also to aviod the charges so must not make a phone call or send a text message so when not on Wifi make sure mobile data and roaming is turned off.
