Upgrading phone

How do i purchase a data plan when swapping my old phone and upgrading to a new one? I can select a data plan when not upgrading but can't when i need to upgrade. Will it automatically include one? Or do i have to purchase it seperately. Thank you

Hi @Sharon269  when swapping/upgrading you purchase a new phone phone and use your current sim/plan. You can order a new sim/plan but that would come with a new number and it's not straightforward transferring your old number to that new sim as it first involves transferring it to a different network. You can't port the number within the same network.
