Upgrading phone data query

If I’m already with Sky and want to upgrade to another phone with Sky, will my data piggy bank (rolled over data from the past few months) be transferred to my new phone/contract please?

The piggy bank is associated with your account (and not a specific dataplan)  and is only removed if you cancel the last SIM on your account.

If you purchase a new data plan then you be paying for 2 and the new one will have a new phone number.

The easiest way is to simply move your current SIM from old to new plan and do not activate any new one if you want to keep your phone number.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

As stated above your piggybak remains on your account so is nothing to do with the phone or phones and sims you have.

When upgrading your phone if you purchase another sim/data plan then you will be paying for another sim.
