Upgrade

Anyone else have issues with Sky not honouring a free early upgrade?

Hi @_Dale46_  i have never seen or heard sky offer free early upgrades ? Are you sure it was sky and not a scam ? If you are sure then you could try a formal complaint.

Sky offers upgrades after 31 days, but those definitely won't be free.  'Swap' contracts only have no additional cost where there's enough value in the returned hardware.

Re: Upgrade

I have to say I was suprised as I had only called to see how long a certain promotion was on for. We obviously went into further detail and I explained I'm due an upgrade in April so am happy to wait. He then went through the swap process and I explained I didn't want to do that and not to worry. He then said that as I'm a diamond customer he can wipe the early upgrade charge however when I've checked today both phones are still showing on my bill. When I called sky this morning I firstly spoke to Abdul. This guy is clearly in the wrong job and shouldn't be answering the phone. The second person actually listened but I still don't think fully understood. I have asked for the call to be pulled and also requested a copy as I don't feel I should be penalised for their mistake.
