Unknown number issues

I have a samsung s24+ no idea if update is causing it,

This is my second sim card as well 

Im not very tec mined basically I have always had volte  calls off (don't understand what it does) recently no idea what's going on basically when it is off like I said my number doesn't show and ringing out or people trying to call me doest work but soon as its turned on number shows calls are fine 

Don't understand why its recently doing this

Volte calls and having this turned on allows you calls to made over the 4G network rather than the slower 2G or 3G networks, so I would just leave it turned on especially as 2G is pretty much dead these days.
