Unable to get on plan to access ESIM activation

Hi , I recently purchased a new iPhone 15 plan from sky and previously had a iphone13 now my old sim won't work for calls and texts. The account says it is being set up on the iPhone 15 plan. How long does this usually take? All help is much appreciated

You should be able to move the sim from your old iphone to the new one without the need to order a new sim or esim so have you tried this ?

I have tried moving my old sim to the new phone and now both don't work on the sky network. Just seems weird I'm probably doing something wrong
