Unable to activate sim

Wanting to Tranfer from giffgaff to Sky. I have a new goffagaff sim and wanting to transfer my number from giffgaff to Sky. Everytime I try it says 'we can't activate your sim at the moment.. 

Please re-submit your sim activation request and any requests to Tranfer your number and/or cancel services with your old provider 

Any help please!!??

Hi @LeiaHendo  have a look here. If you are trying to use your PAC at the same time as activating the sim then don't. Just try activating the sky sim first.

So do I need to activate my new sim first which is connected to sky? Then transfer my number from giffgaff to sky?

Yes @LeiaHendo  thats what I would do, I have seen issues with people trying to activate and use the PAC at the same time.
