Unable to activate eSIM

I've received my new iPhone yesterday but have been unable to activate my eSIM. Every time I get the error message "Unable to activate. You can try again or contact your network provider."

 

I'm worried as I'm expecting a call to go into hospital any day now and can't be without a working phone.

 

Can someone help please?

Is your phone connected to a Wifi network when you are trying to do this ?

Hi

Thanks for replying. Yes phone was connected to a network.

In the end I got hold of a real person at Sky and she was incredibly helpful. Replaced my eSIM and stuck on the line with me until she was sure it was sorted. Worked first time so can only assume original eSIM was faulty.

Sky are great but you do need to jump through A Lot of hoops to access a person rather than endless manuals and robots!
