Got my new iphone 16 plus yesterday and converted my sim to an esim however now i cant activate it (error says old phone not compatible with transfer)and i have no network on either ld or new phone to contact customer services for assistance

I have the same set of issue on new iPhone 16. Old iphone SE not running IOS 16 so eSIM transfer doesn't work. I can get to my plan QR code but I just get an error message to contact my provider. The Virtual Assistant hasnt helped.
