Trying to upgrade on line

Trying to upgrade my iPad on-line but every time I try to add to basket I am getting the message "technical error" and being sent back to home page. Not sure if it is to do with the recent problems with sky tv or if it is something else. Can anyone help with how to talk to an advisor on-line rather than ringing up and spending hours on the phone.
