Traveling to Barbados

I am traveling to Barbados for 2 weeks and I really don't want massive charges. Is there a bundle I can buy to stop this from happening

I'm afraid not as these will be the charges for using a Sky sim there:

£2,160 per GB (yes this is correct)

£2.16 per minute Calls to local or UK mobile and landline numbers

£1.80 per minute to receive calls

£0.50 per text message to UK numbers and mobiles

£0.58 per picture message(MMS)

So either use Wifi only or get and use a local sim. To avoid such charges make sure mobile data and roaming is turned off before you leave the UK.

Hi @Hayley153  no there isn't. It would be extremely expensive to use your sky sim there. To avoid charges turn mobile data off, roaming off and activate flight mode before leaving the UK, not on the plane or when you arrive. When WiFi is available just turn that on in your phone setting's whilst still in flight mode.
