Transfer my phone number to new eSIM iPhone

Just received a new phone but before I start I need to swap my old number from my old phone which has a sim, my new phone has a eSIM, what's the easiest way to transfer my old SIM card with my number to my new phone with a eSIM.. se 2020 to transfer to my new iPhone 15 pro

The iPhone 15 also takes a physical sim as well as an eSIM so you can just move the sim to it if you want otherwise you can convert the sim to an eSIM by following this guide:
