receiving conflicting information from Sky on transfer from o2
Firstly sim did not activate online
Called Sky Mobile who did partial activation but said full activation would take 24 hours. As part of the activation a new number appeared after I requested to keep the same numbrt
Second call to Sky Mobile support minutes after first call gave different information....said transfer would take 24 to 72 hours and number given was temporary
Text received this morning from Sky Mobike says all up and running but with a new number
Conflicting information and transfer from o2 not done properly
Do I call them back ?

Hi @Watso this is what should happen. You get a sky sim and activate it, it will have a new number. You then get a PAC from O2 and give that to sky. The next working day your old number transfers from O2 to the sky sim, replacing the temporary sky number. Porting doesn't happen at weekends so depending on when you gave sky the PAC it could be Monday or Tuesday before the port would complete.

Thanks for the response. Did not get advised on the weekend issue. Will wait to see what happens after weekend
