Text messages updates

My texts don't update when I transfer my sim from old iPhone 13 phone to new iPhone 16

Hi @Sssssd  are you saying you cannot now send text messages ? Or that your old text messages haven't transferred to your new phone ? If it's the latter did you back up your old phone and messages to iCloud before setting up the new phone ?
