Suspicous phone calls

Inrepeadely receive calls saying they have been phoned from my mobile which they haven't I've recently had a attempted scam purportedly from Amazon, thé bank think these two activities may be linked

Hi @Moira46  scammers can "spoof" your number so it looks like you are calling people but it's not you it's them. There isn't much you can do, they normally move on to a different number after a couple of weeks. Laws are being introduced to make this practice illegal.

For the calls it appears someone is making calls and making it looks like it is coming from your number, so if you don't want to receive such calls you might want to look at the call blocking functions on your phone especially the one to block calls from unknown numbers.
