my sim only data plan comes to an end on 22.1.25 the options given are both £7 a month for 3GB. On my sky app there is a plan for 5GB a month for £5. Is this available to me for when my currant plan ends? Please not I have many other services with Sky.
kind regards Caroline

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt is to early to do anything about this at the moment, however those sim offers you have seen so the 5GB for £5 offers only apply if you take out a new sim as they can't usually be applied to your current one.
What you could do nearer the 22nd January 2025 is to phone Sky to see if they will apply any offers that are available at the time to your current sim. If they will not you could order a new sim with a new plan but this will mean you will have a new number as it is not possible to use a pac code to transfer a number between two different Sky sims, although you could transfer the number to a PAYG network and then back to the new Sky sim.

The date is simply your minimum term...
Those prices you see are generally for new/additional SIM's (which will have a new phone number). If you don't want to keep your number then it's easy (order a new one and cancel the old one when you can).
You cannot (easily) transfer a number within a network. As @63johnw notes you can only but ask Sky if they will apply an offer on an existing SIM.
