That's the (virtual) cellular network name: Sky Mobile in Ireland is actually Vodafone under the hood while in the UK it's O2.

This is entirely different to an IP address.

A small number of specialist providers offer fixed IP on mobile devices, at a considerably higher monthly cost than the typical CGNAT service.

Not sure what you mean by a static sim card but for a replacement sim card you would need to contact Sky, the number to call is 150 from a phone that has a Sky sim in it otherwise:

Select - No, I still need help >No, I want to get in touch > tick both boxes > Get in touch.

Do you mean the physical Sim card as opposed to an esim?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Static Sim Card

Hi there yes a physical Sim card that i received from Sky.ie. This Sim card I used in my TP-Link router for port forwarding Ip address and would always stay the same if router power was down for any reason.

Many Thanks

AFAIK Sky do not offer static public IP addresses for mobile.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
