Sky swap / billing issue
03/10 - 2 years into a 3 year contract, so phoned Sky to sort early upgrade/swap. Agreed new contract for iPhone 16 Plus + 50gb Data for £35 a month (£25 phone + £10 data)
13/10 - New phone delivered and noticed new SIM card in package. Wasn't told when negotiating new contract that it meant new sim and number (I absolutely don't want this). Was advised new plan offer only applied to new sim, not old one. Not what I agreed to. Got told to NOT activate/use new sim, just use old one. Got transferred to 'offers' team - they honoured original agreement and applied £10 50gb data plan to existing sim and received email confirmation it had been applied to existing number. Returned old phone that same day, was delivered to sky on 15/10.
But now projected bills has data plan at £20 - again, not the discounted rate that I agreed to or what my email confirmation from Sky says.
Can somebody advise please? Sky customer service on phone not very helpful. Will my bill all update in the coming days when swapped phone is processed on Sky's end, and will offer be applied and bill updated?
