Sky mobile roaming not working when abroad

I am currently on holiday in Egypt and am a diamond vip customer. As part of a recent offer I should be able to use my device as I do in the UK however it will not connect at all. I have reset my network settings and tried to turn off automatic selection for network but nothing works. I have 3 devices with me and only 1 connects. I am with another family who have 4 devices and also only 1 connects. 

Tried to message sky but was told I need to do a factory reset. Surely this is not the solution? We are all android apart from 1 device which is an iPhone. I asked for my request to be transferred to second line support but was refused. I have used chatgpt and done all of their suggested fixes but nothing works. There must be something that can be done.

As some devices are working it would seem to indicate client configuration issues rather than a network problem.  (A factory reset wouldn't be a good idea)

Check SIM application is set to 'roaming'.

If you have an Android phone give this a try:

Find the 'Sky Menu' app.

- Select 'Roaming'

- Ensure both 'Automatic' and 'Sky Settings' have '>' in front of them.

Also trying turning airplane mode on, wait a minute and turn it off again.
