Sky VIP

Hi, just wondering if anyone would know the answer to this please. I've been a Sky mobile customer since 2022 but my app shows I'm not able to join Sky VIP. Everything I have read online says all Sky customers are eligible but when I called I was told I have to wait 7 years?! And I will then be on the Gold Tier. However online, the silver tier shows 0-3 years. I can't see anywhere if this is because I only have a mobile contract with Sky but if anyone is able to clarify that would be appreciated please. Thank you!

To try and get you some help I have escalated your post to the Sky Community Messaging Team.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a coloured speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

Hi, 

 

Unfortunately my case hasn't been resolved and I'm now unable to gain access to my mobile contract account when I log in or go on to the app. My account is now backdated to when my husband had sky tv/ broadband which we haven't had since July 2022 when it was cancelled. 

when I spoke with someone on the chat, it was being looked in to and they said the chat would be paused for 72 hours. However I have logged in daily to check and nothing has come through and it's now been weeks. 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
