Sky VIP for mobile customer

I was phoned today congratulating me on being a SKY VIP member for 3 years and have now reached gold member status, however when I log onto the Sky VIP section on the my sky app it says "you cant join sky vip right now". I have tried redownloading the app but it message hasnt changed. Any advice?
