Good evening,
Today, when looking to reduce overall costs for my package, I took a deal that comes with a sim-only Sky Mobile account.
I forgot to ask the person on the other end of the chat session (Taiba is their name - very gracious) if the new sim-only deal also comes with a new phone number?
I don't currently have a personal mobile phone, just a work provided mobile phone which I have used as my contact number for my overall Sky account. As it's a work phone, it's not my number to transfer to a new sim and I'm hoping this isn't going to automatically happen resulting in a messed up work mobile number. My work IT department will have a fit if it does....
Can anyone here confirm if I get a new number with the sim and my work number won't automatically be assigned to my Sky Mobile Sim?
I've just tried Sky's Virtual assistant, but sadly it does not seem up to the task of answering this question.

All sims come with a number.
