Sky Mobile SIM Activation

I received my new phone and it's a bigger data package than my old phone so I put the new SIM that was sent with the phone in and went through the activation steps and it just keeps saying 'try again'? The phone is working perfectly fine, by when I go onto 'My Sky' it is still showing my old phone as my primary phone and the new one is there but says activate your SIM. It's also showing the old amount of data and not the new data package and on the payments it looks like I'm going to be paying for 2 phones as the old price is still there and the new amount just added onto it? Some help would be much appreciated

Hi @Louise-24  if you ordered a new sim plan that will come with a new number and you will be paying for two sims unless you cancel the old one. You can't port a number from one sky sim to another. If you want to keep your old number you will need to port it to another network using a PAC then port it back onto your new activated sim.

Re: Sky Mobile SIM Activation

Everything is working on my new phone and the new SIM seems to be working with my old number as I can receive and send messages and phone calls and it has phone signal whereas my old phone and SIM has no service. It's just on the sky app that it's showing my old phone, SIM and data plan as the primary one even though it's not working and I'm still being charged for it. I don't understand how you cancel the other SIM?
