Sim slot on mac book

I have just received a MacBook Air 13-Inch M2 (2022) and SIM card. I can’t seem to find where the SIM card insert. Can anyone help?

There isn't anywhere.  You would need to buy a cellular dongle if you want to use the SIM.

Apple has never provisioned a modern laptop with cellular data access hardware, so there's no SIM slot (or eSIM functionality)

It's frankly a mystery why Sky feels the need to ship a SIM with them.

Yes i am the same where does sim go as why pay 4 a sim when u cant use it did u find out thank u

Shipping a SIM seems to be an inherent part of the Sky billing system.  If it's not activated then it won't be charged for.  There's no point having a data plan for an Apple laptop unless (for some reason) the user wants to have a separate cellular modem rather than tethering to a mobile.
