Sim replacement not working

I've bought a new phone from sky as an existing customer around 2 weeks ago and activated my new sim when setting up the phone. However, it still says I need to activate it and I never got the message to say that it activated. Every time I try to replace my old sim it says there's an error. I have a swap upgrade so I'm wondering if it doesn't let me replace the sim until my new phone has been sent back

When it comes to sims and activating them the phone plays no part in it. 

 

If all you did was to get a new phone so you didn't order a new data plan then usually you should be able to use the sim you had already got in the new phone.

 

You might have to find a way to contact Sky about this so if you have no other phone they can be contacted via social media.
