Signal dropping regularly
Hi all,
I'm living in Ireland. I signed up for Sky Mobile around 2 weeks ago and have had nothing but issues. Multiple times a day the signal drops from my phone. Mostly I'm stuck with Emergency Calls Only when it drops, but sometimes I see No Service. When I do have signal, and I'm not on WiFi, I'm often stuck with E. Rarely would I see 4G, never mind 5G.
I have spoken with Sky on multiple occasions regarding this issue and was told 11 days ago that the technical team would be in touch. I mean, maybe they have tried calling me and I had no signal. Considering they don't do WiFi calling I've definitely missed calls.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I really regret making the move to Sky Mobile to be honest.

Re: Signal dropping regularly
I've had similar issues with calls dropping and/or failing for a year. When you check the services it advises there is a mast issue. Around June this year, the message changed to say there would be someone out to work on the mast. But each month the date gets moved out. They say it's O2 but whoever the provider is is of no concern to me. I'm skys customer but they seem not to want to check with O2 as to what is going on. My contract is due up at the end of the year and I will be moving as they calling I have is just not reliable! It's a joke

Re: Signal dropping regularly
Thanks for the reply. They piggyback off Vodafone in Ireland. My husband is on that network and he doesn't have the same issues I have. So I don't think that's causing it.
I had an issue at the start where I ordered an eSIM which had to be changed out to a physical SIM, but I don't know why this would cause me problems.
