Samsung galaxy a17 no sim

I recently received my daughter's new phone and setting it up for her Christmas however there is no SIM card for it. Did I request it with no sim?

As we are just customers here we can not say for sure what you did or didn't order.

 

Could you have ordered an eSim for the phone ?
