Hi I've received A9 Galaxy tablet which includes a SIM card which needs activation, but I'm unsure wether to activate it as a new number, replacement number or additional, I already have sim on my mobile and totally confused what to do with this new one😵💫 I'm a pensioner that's my excuse ! any advice appreciated

If you want to use it when out and about then when you ordered the tablet did you also order a data plan for it as usually these devices come with a sim no matter if you need it or not which might be what has happened here if you did not order a data plan for it.

Just planning to use it at home so will not t bother with the sim, many thanks for your help

I have the same problem as in the original post, but I would like to activate the SIM to use the device when away from my home wifi.

Yes, but I'm unsure whether to activate it as a new SIM or replacement SIM. I already have a SIM on my mobile and want to use the same number for the tablet.

You can't use the same number. If you activate it as a replacement then it will deactivate the SIM in your mobile.
Phone numbers are generally irrelevant for tablets as they don't usually have the apps for phone use - just data.
You could just tether from tablet to phone of course...
