SIM card with MacBook

Hello folks, just wondering if I just ordered the lowest SIM card with the MacBook if I don't activate the SIM card does it automatically just drop from my bill?
I don't even need a SIM card, I literally just want to pay for the MacBook. Also it's unclear why sky are forcing you to buy a SIM card.
No hate towards Sky tho.

There's no additional cost for the supply of the SIM.  As Apple has never provisioned laptop hardware with cellular components it's certainly something of a mystery, but if not activated the SIM just expires.

Hi @Unknown11  I have a MacBook and they don't use and form of SIM card so the issue should not arise. Just don't order one.
