SIM SET UP

I have activated a new SIM today but when I have sent a bulk message to all my contacts with my new number, a number of people have replied back but someone else has been getting the messages not me, seems to be linked to IPhones can anyone help?

Is the number showing correctly on your phone itself since the activation:

 

If this is an iphone refresh the network settings so go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.Then go to Settings - Phone - My Number and change it if it is wrong, then reboot the phone. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.


If it is an Android phone go to About Phone > My Phone number, change it and reboot the phone. Also in text settings change the chat function to automatic. Make sure your current number is ticked and the temporary one isn't.

I am trying to set up my new SIM card, my sky broadband went live today and I can't set up a new account

What are you having issues with ?

Have you activated the sim ?
