Royal Mail lost phone
I upgraded my iPhone to a newer version and sent it via Royal Mail tracked 48 label and box given by sky. This was December! The iPhone never left the post office according to the tracking. Sky are still charging me for two phones and everytime I call them they tell me it's my responsibility and I need to contact Royal Mail. Royal Mail only compensate up to £75 tracked 48 the phone was valued at £450!! Sky customer service is appalling I'm seriously considering taking this to a solicitor as everytime I call sky they lie to me fob me off and still charge me for a phone I do not have!!

Re: Royal Mail lost phone
As long as you still have the proof of posting the device back / tracking information, that should be enough for Sky to start an investigation with Royal Mail. You've sent it off as instructed.
This link explains the methods of making a complaint.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint
Sky will then have up to 8 weeks to resolve it or you can then request a deadlock letter.

Re: Royal Mail lost phone
The problem you will have is if you didn't pay the extra to cover the value of the device then you may only get the £75 that's covered @Rich1411 . The post office usually ask me the value of the object and then give me the option to increase the cover.
