I have been charged £200 for roaming not being switched off for 1 hour in the airport in Mexico despite having no signal or actually using my phone.
has anyone had experience with this? I understand this is the t&cs for roaming in Mexico with Sky but seems very unreasonable. I understand that they are not liable to refund or resolve this but just wondering other peoples experiences as this is very stressful
Thanks

Modern phones will use data even if you're not actively using your phone.
£200 would be around 90Mb which could easily be used within the hour.
You can call Sky and see if they can apply any goodwill.
