Roaming cost
I'm in France and we have our internet in our caravan. I expect to pay roaming charges daily. We have loads of data which we roll onto the sim as required. We contect out phones to the unit. I have checked our current bill and the caravan current bill is over £160 which I do not understand. I've never had this in previous years of travelling in France. Any help appreciated.

Re: Roaming cost
From sometime last year I believe data usage is restricted to 25GB per billing period before you pay per GB for what you use so this might be why you bill is that high.

Re: Roaming cost
There's a fair usage limit of 25GB. However, you should have be warned approaching this limit via text.,
However, I suspect such texts where sent to the 'unit' (MiFi box?) but you cannot see them and where subsequently charged...
Piggybank data is not exempt from this limit.

Re: Roaming cost
Remember that calls to local numbers are charged extra at international rates and there is a limit on data use of 25GB per billing period, after which Sky can charge you an extra £2.50 per GB or even suspend your useage duel to overuse.
