Roaming Not Working in NYC

I am so relieved to find this thread.

Been here 5 days and my roaming is not working at all! I keep getting charged for the roaming passport, but every time I leave wi-fi my phone goes into SOS mode. I can't make calls, use apps or even maps! No one can reach me, I can't book cabs or navigate my journey, I feel so angry, let down and h safe. I'm here for 3 weeks and wish I could throw my cell away and cancel my sky contract. I've travelled to nyc for years and NEVER had this issue with another provider. Very disappointing . I can't call the helpline because no calls and the virtual assistant is useless.

I'm so sorry to see this. The way I finally fixed mine was mental but worked - I paid off. future bill that wasn;t even showing - just prepay £100 or similar and somehow it unblocked the issue which should never have been that.

Try that as a hack but hopefully also a Sky employee wil see this and cascase up?
