Returning a device

Hi all,  what has been people's experience with returning a device while still under a credit agreement? I have an iPad that I'm not using as much as I thought I would and I've tried to get more information through the app about sending the device back but keep getting the 'technical error it's not you, it's us' message and chat always seems to be unavailable when I try that avenue. Don't particulary want to call Sky directly as I've always had a terrible experience with that service.

 

What little info I found says that Sky will give you a value for the device and that will goes towards paying off the credit agreement but I'd love to hear from anyone successfully returned a devicewhen under a credit agreement?

Once you have gone past the cooling off period of 31 days then only way to return it would be via an upgrade or swap as you would then be ordering a new device at the same time. Usually the earlier nto your contract you do this then the more it will cost as the value Sky gives you for it might not be enough to pay off the credit agreement meaning you would be required to pay the difference in one go via a future bill.

Hi @BettyO1  as mentioned you won't be able to just return a device whilst in an agreement. You could sell the device and use that towards the outstanding balance but it probably won't cover what is owed. You would still have to pay the difference.
