Return to consignor has been requested

Phone went through, had the welcome letter and another contract via email and a DPD tracking number, then another email to say the phone had being dispatched...

I've gone on to DPD to track and it states ' Return to consignor has been requested'

can anyone tell me why this is please?

had nothing but issues trying do this via sky.

Hi @Jt111  this sometimes happens when a customer has failed the second more enhanced credit check sky carry out. Only a call to sky will confirm why they have asked for the device to be returned.

Re: Return to consignor has been requested

Understandable yes but I got accepted, then the second check was accepted sent contracts and dispatched the item so surely if I had failed they wouldn't of dispatched the item in the first place to DPD.

yes shall contact. Thanks

Re: Return to consignor has been requested

But how exactly are you supposed to phone them? There are never any numbers on here or on their website.

@davmor73
If you definitely need to contact Sky then if you already have a Sky Mobile or a Sky Talk landline call free by dialling 150, otherwise you can use:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0818 number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).

You will find that similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send you back to the forum.

Note: We’ve been informed the lines are busier than usual at the moment.
