Hi all,
I am currently on a swap 24 contract and have now entered into the last 12 months of the deal so I'm eligible to swap to a new handset. Looking at the options available I feel as though I may look at another network provider... if I return my handset and the swap value means I have no more to pay and then look to transfer my number to a new provider will this mean I have finished my contract with Sky?
Thanks in advance ☺️

The only reason at this point to return your phone would be if you were going to swap/upgrade it and if you did that the value Sky gives you should be enough to pay of the last 12 months. If you don't want to swap then you do have to continue paying off the last 12 months yourself as only when this is done does that phone belong to you as you would no longer be paying for ut.
You can cancel the sim once you have had it for 12 months or more.

Thanks for your reply. It looks as though on the website I can return the phone at no cost without swapping for another phone. In this case I guess I wouldn't be able to just cancel the sim and transfer my number to another network?

The sim is seperate from the phone so if you want to transfer it to a different network you must not cancel it but just do the transfer via a pac code.
