Reporting scam texts
I always forward scam texts to 7726 but no longer get the reply asking for the sender's number.
when my husband sends reports he doesn't get any response now either.
@Sky are my reports being delivered to Action Fraud?

Re: Reporting scam texts
The person you have tagged is a fellow customer who we can safely say made a poor choice of username.
Im not aware that any reports are automatically forwarded to Action Fraud. Action Fraud do not investigate anything. They collate information and patterns and if there is an offence pass it to the appropriate police force who themselves decide whether it's worthy of investigation.

Re: Reporting scam texts
Thanks for the heads up on the tagged name!
It is Sky's own advice to report scam texts to 7726. That is also the advice of Action Fraud itself:
Have you received a suspicious text message?
Most phone providers are part of a scheme that allows customers to report suspicious text messages for free by forwarding it to 7726. If you forward a text to 7726, your provider can investigate the origin of the text and arrange to block or ban the sender, if it’s found to be malicious.
So my question remains why am I no longer asked for the number and are Sky doing anything at all with the reported scam messages?

My main question is why I no longer get the response texts from Action Fraud and I'm looking for confirmation from Sky that my texts are being received at 7726

Re: Reporting scam texts
That's something you'll need to ask Sky. Give them a call on 150. I've been with Sky mobile for 6 years and never received a scam text so never had the need to forward details on.
