Received New Phone - Converted old sim to Esim

Received a new phone and converted the sim to Esim.

 

It all seemed fine and the QR code flashed up then the screen went into a sky error and I now cannot do anything.

 

I have no signal and the sim doesnt work - the email activation code is only 4 digits and I cannot see how to use this anywhere.

 

I have put the old sim in the new phone just in case this is the reason why but still nothing.....

 

Beginning to wish I had not swapped - Sky are pestering me for old phone back but reluctant to do this as have no back up if I do.

I would suggest calling them for help, at most they might want to send you out a new sim.

I cannot contact sky as I do not have a signal - Im going round in sircles with the virtual assistant and cannot contact anyone online!

I have not got another phone as would have used it to speak to Sky !!

 

I am muddling through so think I can sort on my own now.
