Purchasing items online

I am wanting to purchase an Apple iPad through sky but when I add the item to my basket and log in with my email and password it comes up with an error message everytime! I have previously had broadband with sky but moved so that account is closed, has this got something to do with it?

Highly likely I would have though so sign out of that account and then purchase this iPad as a new customer so providing a different email address during the purchase or if you want to use the same one then make sure it is removed from that old account first.
