Problem with receiving iMessages
I have got a new sky SIM for my daughter who was previously with o2. She got a PAC code. Everything seems to have transferred over but she still has a problem with iMessage. She can send iMessages but not receive them. I have looked at lots of previous posts on here & done several things to fix it but it's still not working. Any ideas?

Re: Problem with receiving iMessages
Give this go:
Go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then go to Settings - Phone - My Number and change it if it is wrong, then reboot the phone. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.

Re: Problem with receiving iMessages
This was previously posted by another member:
- In Settings, ensure your phone number is showing up in the phone screen under my number
- In Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, untick your number
- In Settings > Messages, turn off
- Restart the phone
- In Settings > Messages, turn on iMessage
- In settings > Messages > Send & Receive, tick your number
IMessage should show waiting for activation. You should then get it activated after a few minutes.

We've tried that too - no luck. Heading into an apple shop now to see if they can help 🤞🏻

Re: Problem with receiving iMessages
Hi - we had to go into an Apple shop & someone remotely fixed the problem. If you can't get to an Apple shop they can do it via the helpline you can ring. I have no clue what was wrong & how they fixed it but apparently it's a common issue. Took about 24 hours to reset itself & she's had no issues since.
